Guidelines for Handling Foreign Visitors Holding Amateur Radio Operator Certificates and Station Licenses Issued Abroad:

According to the Administrative Measures for Amateur Radio (Order No. 67) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, effective from March 1, 2024:

As of March 1, 2024, amateur radio operator certificates are issued by the radio regulatory authorities, and obtaining such certificates requires passing a unified examination with a qualifying score.

If the country or region that issued the amateur radio operator certificate and station license held by the foreign visitor has signed a mutual recognition agreement on amateur radio with the People’s Republic of China, the procedures may be handled in accordance with the provisions of the agreement.
